April was a busy month at My Chic Farmhouse. We received merchandise from four of our vendors and attended the Petaluma Antiques Faire. Our shop is now overflowing with many treasures. Come in and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed!
We are so excited that Spring has finally arrived! Flowers are in bloom, birds are chirping and people seem happier because the days are longer.
Recently, we returned from a week’s trip to Atlanta. The purpose of the trip was to shop at AmericasMart and to visit family. We scored on both. Purchases were made at MudPie and Creative Co-Op. In a few weeks, a big shipment from Creative-Co-Op will arrive. Thanks to my sister Gina and niece Jenn, we chose items we think My Chic Farmhouse customers will love. We certainly fell in love with quite a few things. We had to remember we were buying for the shop and not for ourselves. It’s very easy to forget when you are surrounded by many beautiful things.
As an attempt to keep up with the social media craze, we are now on Instagram. Follow us @my_chic_farmhouse. We will continue to post on Facebook as well.
We hope you have a wonderful Spring!
Next Thursday is Valentine’s Day. As a reminder, we have beautiful jewelry designed by Tanja Alexandra Kern for sale in the shop. How about a necklace, bracelet or earrings in many different gemstones to choose from for your sweetie (or for yourself)?
February’s birthstone is amethyst. Amethyst is the stone of spirituality and contentment. You don’t need to be born in February to love this stone. Its beautiful purple color is enough to enchant. So many choices, so little time…
We started the new year out with a bang. First, we became a member of the Mendocino Coast Chamber of Commerce. We are excited about this wonderful opportunity. Second, we have a new website. Thanks to Ryan Milani of Ryan Milani Inc. for designing our site. Amazing, isn’t it? It’s fresh, different and even includes this blog section which we will be posting to regularly. Finally, we recently ordered more merchandise from three of our vendors. We are expecting shipments any day now. Our tiny, charming shop will be back to being full. January has certainly been a busy month. Now we can't wait to see what the next eleven months has in store for us.
